Vessel Calls Decline Amid Record Performance
Despite these record figures, vessel calls at Tokyo Port fell 3.6% to 10,129, with total gross tonnage decreasing 3.1% to 75.49 million tonnes. Domestic cargo totaled 18.81 million tonnes, with outbound shipments up 3% to 7.06 million tonnes, while inbound volumes dipped 0.7% to 11.74 million tonnes.
